History

The Club originally started as the Roxbury Run development created by a private partnership in the mid-1960s.  Over the course of approximately fifteen years the development grew to about one hundred homes and was sold to a real estate corporation which ran the facilities for several years.  In 1983 the corporation agreed to sell the facilities to a group of residents of Roxbury Run who then created the Roxbury Run Country Club, a private Club fully owned and controlled by its Members.  The Club has now operated for over thirty years guided by its own set of Bylaws and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors with the full participation of the Membership.
